President William Ruto has called for accelerated investment and stronger partnerships to achieve universal access to clean cooking across Africa. Speaking at a high-level virtual forum on keeping clean cooking high on Africa's development agenda, Ruto noted that nearly one billion Africans still depend on traditional fuels that endanger health, education, and the environment.
