The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show is set to bring together some of the biggest names in global music, with Justin Bieber confirmed as a co-headliner alongside Madonna, Shakira and BTS in a performance aimed at supporting education initiatives around the world.
The organisers said the show will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a campaign that seeks to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide. The performance is scheduled for Sunday, 19 July 2026, during the FIFA World Cup final at New York New Jersey Stadium.

The halftime show will use one of the world’s largest sporting audiences to raise awareness of the importance of education and equal opportunities for children.
Other artists confirmed for the performance include Burna Boy, internationally acclaimed conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS 22 Chorus, who will perform alongside Coldplay.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is serving as the show’s curator, helping shape a production that combines music, football and social impact.

Rather than serving solely as musical entertainment, the performance is intended to highlight the role sport can play in addressing global challenges and inspiring positive change.

The announcement comes as the FIFA World Cup enters its decisive stage. The quarter-finals begin today, with France taking on Morocco, while Spain, Belgium, England, Norway, Argentina and Switzerland are the other nations still in contention for the title. The eight remaining teams will battle for a place in the semi-finals before the tournament concludes with the final at New York New Jersey Stadium on 19 July.
