Former Deputy Chief of Staff Eliud Owalo has unveiled an ambitious tax reform agenda under the newly launched People's Prosperity Party. The party proposes reducing income tax from 35 to 29 percent, cutting VAT from 16 to 10 percent, abolishing digital tax and lowering corporate tax to spur investment and economic growth.
