The Clerk of the Senate Jeremiah Nyegenye has challenged parliamentary finance, accounting and supply chain officers to uphold transparency, accountability and value for money to secure clean audit opinions. Speaking through Deputy Clerk Eunice Gichangi during a retreat in Naivasha, he urged the officers to remain agile as they prepare statutory financial reports and adapt to changing public finance reporting standards.
