The National Council of Churches of Kenya has called on the NCIC to urgently implement measures to safeguard peace ahead of the 2027 General Elections. During a consultative meeting between the two organisations, NCCK urged the NCIC to establish a hate speech and incitement monitoring and rapid response system to collect data and support prosecution of offenders across all political parties. It also recommended collaboration with community peace committees to identify and prosecute financiers of violence.
