Teachers have been urged to work closely with parents to create a supportive learning environment, especially for younger learners while not overlooking the need to discipline them when they make mistakes. Peter Sheshe says many students have become increasingly mischievous because some teachers and parents, tend to spoil them by failing to enforce appropriate discipline. He added that this approach would help improve the quality of learner at the grassroots level and ensure that every student achieves better results in national examinations.
