Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has accused the government of using development projects and incentives to influence voters ahead of the Ol Kalou by-election. While encouraging residents to accept any government services delivered to the area, Gachagua urged them not to surrender their national identity cards or allow inducements to influence how they vote. Gachagua’s claims comes a day after government officials led by Irrigation PS Ephantus Kimotho delivered two newly acquired rescue boats at Gwa Kiongo Dam in Ol Kalou Constituency to enhance emergency response and improve water safety in the area.
