Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) has announced grand plans that will see an increase in international tourism numbers by over 5 million tourists this year in the country. The KTB CEO June Chepkemei said currently Kenya has a record 8 million tourists including 5.2 million domestic tourists and 2.7 million foreign. She said their aim is to see a growth in foreign tourists to 5.5 million this financial year which will help double the bed occupancy in the country.
