The Linda Mwananchi youth movement is demanding greater accountability from security agencies following recent incidents of political violence. The group is urging Police IG Douglas Kanja to take disciplinary action against officers accused of failing to stop violent disruptions in areas including Keumbu, Kitengela, and Nyeri. It also called on the Registrar of Political Parties to enforce the law against parties or politicians found to be promoting violence and urged the government to publish a report on casualties and damage linked to political gatherings.
