An emotional testimony marked the ongoing manslaughter trial of Pastor Paul Mackenzie and five co-accused in Mombasa. An 18-year-old prosecution witness told the court she was allegedly persuaded to relocate to Kwa Binzaro for prolonged fasting and was prevented from leaving after becoming too weak. Proceedings were briefly halted after the witness broke down during cross-examination. Mackenzie and his co-accused have denied 29 counts of manslaughter.
