Kenyan music producer and singer Magix Enga has publicly dismissed reports claiming he and his US-based wife, Joy, popularly known as Jojo, have separated.
The musician responded through a series of posts on Instagram after blogs circulated stories suggesting trouble in his marriage. Magix insisted that the reports were false and urged bloggers to focus on promoting his music rather than speculating about his personal life.

“Relax, bloggers, you haven't gotten rid of us yet! Stop planning our breakup faster than I can release a song. Instead of counting our relationship status, count the streams on my new song.”

He further appealed to bloggers to include links to his music whenever they write about him.
“To all bloggers out there, whenever you share a story about me, add a link to my music too. If you're making me a headline, then let the songs reach people as well.”
Magix concluded the message by firmly rejecting the claims.
“We are not breaking up, we are married, and there is no turning back!”
“No Reverse Gear in This Story”
In a separate post, the producer doubled down on his remarks, saying those anticipating a breakup would have to wait indefinitely.
“Dear bloggers, you love announcing my breakup faster than I release songs! Relax, we haven't broken up, and you'll be waiting a long time for that.”
He added:
“In fact, we're married, and there's no reverse gear in this story! If you're writing headlines about us, please don't forget to include a link to my new song as well. If you're making me trend, then let the music trend too!”
Marriage That Began Earlier This Year
The couple tied the knot in March 2026 during a private civil wedding ceremony in Nakuru. Magix shared images from the event and described the union as a love story that had finally been sealed.

“She saw me at my lowest and still treated me like a king,” he wrote in an earlier tribute to his wife.
Focus Remains on Music
While addressing the rumours, Magix used the opportunity to draw attention to his latest music releases. His message was clear: rather than focusing on unverified reports about his marriage, he would prefer public attention to be directed towards his work as an artist and producer.
