Kenyan comedian and media personality Dr Ofweneke and his wife, Diana Ingosi, have celebrated their first month as a married couple, sharing affectionate messages about their journey together since exchanging vows at a traditional wedding ceremony on May 9.

The couple, who formalised their union in a colourful ceremony attended by family, friends and several notable guests, marked the milestone through social media posts reflecting on their first month as husband and wife.

Diana Reflects on Her New Role

Diana expressed excitement about her new chapter in life, revealing that she is still adjusting to being addressed as a married woman.

“It has been a beautiful month of being called Mrs Bush Sande. I’m still getting used to it, but I absolutely love it here,” she wrote.

She also spoke about her commitment to their relationship, saying she intends to remain by her husband's side through every stage of life.
“Through the good times and the challenging ones, through thick and thin, whether the seas are calm or the storms are raging, I will be right here. One month down, forever to go.”
The message was accompanied by a video showing the couple together in matching black outfits. In the clip, a romantic audio message described Ofweneke as a man with a generous heart and reflected on finding the love she had prayed for.

Ofweneke Responds

The comedian also reacted to his wife's public message, leaving a brief but supportive comment.
“Let the blood speak always.”
The exchange attracted congratulatory messages from followers, many of whom wished the couple well as they continue their married life.

A New Chapter After a Traditional Wedding

The anniversary comes a month after the pair held a lavish traditional wedding ceremony that drew widespread attention online.

Shortly after the ceremony, Diana introduced herself publicly as Mrs Diana Sande, signalling the beginning of her new life as Ofweneke's wife.

At the time, the couple shared a message reaffirming their commitment to one another.

“We are not perfect, but we are perfect for each other, hand in hand, heart to heart, we choose us always.”
For Ofweneke, who has previously spoken openly about lessons learned from past relationships, the marriage represents a fresh chapter. The entertainer has repeatedly stated that he hopes to make the union a lasting one.
