Sonko Meets Baby Talisha
Sonko had earlier attended Anita’s burial, where he publicly promised to help raise her daughter and support her education.
Days later, the politician shared photos and videos on social media showing Baby Talisha visiting his Nairobi office alongside relatives and her nanny, Winnie. The pair were seen playing together, sharing snacks, and spending quality time in emotional father-daughter moments.
In a heartfelt message, Sonko expressed pain over the trauma the young girl experienced.
“Baby Talisha is only four years old. At such a tender age, no child should ever witness the horror of seeing her own mother killed before her eyes,” Sonko wrote.
He added that no child should grow up carrying such painful memories.
“A child who should only know love, laughter, toys, and bedtime stories is now growing up with memories no child deserves to carry. But the devil has failed.”
Promise to Support Her Education
The former governor further shared some of the young girl’s achievements, including a swimming certificate she won at school last year.

Anita Mugweru’s Final Moments
Earlier reports indicated that Anita and her husband had allegedly been facing marital problems before her death, with accusations of infidelity emerging during arguments between the couple.
According to Winnie, the family’s househelp, Anita’s final words were directed at her husband during a heated confrontation. She reportedly told him to leave her alone and be with the other women he was allegedly involved with.
The case remains under investigation.
