Nairobi’s premier throwback experience, The Millennials Cookout, is officially back for a reunion that you never thought you needed.
On Saturday, 4th July 2026, the Ngong Racecourse will play host to a celebration of the 90s and 2000s, blending high-energy nostalgia with the city’s best food, music, fashion, and connection.
Curated as an all-day escape, the event starts at midday, inviting guests to bask in the sunshine, and concludes at midnight — striking the sweet spot between unforgettable celebration and the millennial preference for an early night in.
This edition will feature a millennials' playground to recreate and relive some childhood memories, more interactive experiences, a wider selection of food vendors, and surprise acts to enhance the day.

Past editions have consistently drawn thousands of attendees to relive a signature atmosphere defined by shared memories and community energy.
Reflecting the event’s premium hospitality standards, sufficient seating will be incorporated to guarantee a relaxed, comfortable, and seamless guest experience.
The lineup features DJ Emvy spinning the best African music, DJ Kronikx delivering your best Caribbean jams, Shema on Hip Hop and RnB and UV playing House and EDM jams from the 90s and 2000s. The event follows a theme of friends, food, and fun, with a Rodeo Chic dress code for all attendees. This installment reinforces the event as a must-attend date on Nairobi's social calendar, delivering the authentic throwback energy the community expects.

Tickets are available in waves starting at Ksh 3,000 for the first wave, Ksh 3,500 for the second wave, Ksh 4,000 for the third wave, and Ksh 5,000 for the final wave. Secure access and additional event information are available at https://mookh.com/event/millennials-cookout/.
