The comedian disclosed this in a video posted on his social media platforms, where he explained how the proposal was presented to him and the steps he took before making his final decision.

Consultation with His Father
Kiragu stated that he involved his father after receiving the offer. He showed him the message from the betting company and sought his opinion on whether to take up the deal.

According to Giragu, his father responded by cautioning him about the long-term implications of such a decision. He recalled his father saying:
“Once you do that, you have chosen something different, and you have to serve it.”
This advice became a key factor in how he approached the offer.
Consideration of the Offer
The content creator admitted that he initially considered accepting the deal due to the amount involved.
He noted that he questioned his father’s advice and suggested the possibility of doing the promotion only once.
He recounted telling his father: “Dad wacha nifanye tu mara moja… I do it once, it’s only one video.”
Despite raising this point, he continued to reflect on the advice he had received.

Decision Not to Proceed
Kiragu confirmed that he ultimately declined the offer and did not enter into any agreement with the betting company. No promotional video was produced following the proposal.
He stated that his decision was guided by integrity, as shared in his remarks, and that he chose not to take up the opportunity after consulting with his father.
