Tanzanian power couple Nandy and Billnass are celebrating a significant milestone in their relationship. The pair has now been together for 14 years.

Nandy, whose real name is Faustina Charles Mfinanga, shared the news on social media to mark her husband's birthday. The couple has become one of East Africa's most prominent celebrity pairings.

A Lasting Bond

In her tribute, Nandy thanked the rapper for his role in her life and their family. She praised him as an amazing leader, a devoted husband, and a "wonderful father" to their daughter.

“Hey boo, it’s your day! 14 years together and yet it feels like we just started yesterday. I love you so much! Thank you for everything—for being an amazing leader to me, the best husband, a wonderful father to Naya.”

She also highlighted his positive relationship with her parents and siblings. Closing her message with a touch of humour, she prayed for his continued success so she could "keep on slaaaaaaying."

A Husband’s Gratitude

Billnass was quick to respond to his wife’s public declaration. His reply was deeply spiritual and emotional, framing their union as a divine blessing.

"Among the many things the Almighty has favoured me with, giving me you is the greatest," he wrote.

He expressed that his very soul would judge him if he failed to thank God for bringing her into his life. This public exchange has captivated fans, many of whom have followed the couple’s journey since their early days.

A Journey from University Days

The couple’s relationship began long before they found fame. They first met during their university days. Their path has included some challenges over the years. They maintained an on-and-off relationship for a period before officially splitting at the end of 2017.

However, the separation was not permanent. The musicians eventually reunited and moved toward a more formal commitment. They became engaged in 2020. This led to a traditional wedding ceremony held in Zanzibar four months before their church wedding.

The 2022 Royal Wedding

The couple officially tied the knot in a colourful ceremony on 16 July 2022. The wedding took place at the KKKT Church in Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam. It was attended by a limited number of close friends and family members.

Nandy arrived at the church wearing a sparkly white wedding gown and a flower tiara. Billnass wore a classic white and black tuxedo for the occasion. At the time of the wedding, the singer was expectant.

Some guests noted that she appeared serious during the ceremony, which fans attributed to the physical toll of her pregnancy at the time.
