A dramatic twist has emerged in the robbery case involving popular Kenyan filmmaker and content creator Abel Mutua, after a man allegedly linked to the incident came forward asking for forgiveness.

The suspect reportedly admitted to being part of the group that robbed Mutua at knife point and made away with his iPhone 16 Pro Max, an incident that had earlier shocked fans online.

The incident dates back to October 2025 when Abel Mutua was attacked in Kahawa West, Nairobi, by knife-wielding assailants.
According to multiple reports, the attackers ambushed him and stole valuables, including his iPhone 16 Pro Max and Bose headphones
Despite the terrifying ordeal, Mutua later revealed that the robbers did not physically harm him, something he said he was grateful for.
“The important thing is that despite the massive knives… they spared my life,” he shared after the incident. 
The robbery happened in a chilling location—just across from the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital morgue—adding to the intensity of the experience.

Months later, a man believed to be involved in the robbery has reportedly confessed and is now seeking forgiveness from Mutua.
