Comedian and activist Eric Omondi has officially confirmed the date and artist lineup for the highly anticipated ‘Niko Kadi’ concert. Omondi shared the announcement with his millions of followers on Instagram, marking a major milestone for the youth-led movement.
The event is set to take place on 3rd May at Nairobi’s historic Uhuru Park. The gates will open at 8:00 am, with the performances scheduled to run until 6:00 pm.

The ‘Entry ni Kadi’ Rule
The concert features a unique entry requirement. Instead of traditional tickets, attendees must present their voter registration card to gain access to the venue.
This "Entry ni Kadi" (The card is your entry) policy is the core of the campaign’s strategy to ensure young people are ready for the ballot.

A Campaign for Civic Change
The ‘Niko Kadi’ campaign is a civic initiative designed to sensitise Kenyan youth about the importance of voter registration. It was founded by renowned photojournalist Allans Ademba. Ademba’s vision was to use the power of photography and art to bridge the gap between the youth and the democratic process.
In recent months, Eric Omondi has taken a leading role in the campaign. He has used his platform to advocate for social justice and economic reform. This concert represents the culmination of weeks of grassroots mobilisation across the country.
The ‘Niko Kadi’ campaign continues to gain momentum as the concert date approaches.
