Net Worth Growth
Stevo Simple Boy stated that his net worth has increased from approximately KSh100,000 in early 2025 to about KSh10 million in 2026. The increase reflects a sharp change in his earnings within a relatively short period.
Life Before Fame and Early Finances
Before gaining national attention, Stevo Simple Boy’s financial situation was modest and largely undocumented in formal terms. Raised in Kibera after being born in Oyugis, Homa Bay County, he grew up in a low-income environment where access to stable income was limited.
During his early years pursuing music, he did not earn consistent revenue from his craft. Reports indicate that he worked casual jobs, including construction work (“mjengo”), to support himself while attending rehearsals and recording music.ALSO READ: How Much Does Alfayo Siwo Charge? At the time, his focus remained on building a music career rather than accumulating wealth. His songs were produced and performed with minimal resources, and financial returns were irregular. There were also periods where he struggled due to poor management decisions that affected his earnings.
As a result, his net worth before fame was minimal, with most of his income going toward daily survival and basic needs rather than savings or investments.

Career Background
The rapper rose to national recognition in 2019 after the release of “Mihadarati,” a song addressing drug abuse that received widespread airplay.
Since then, he has maintained visibility through music releases, online trends, and collaborations, contributing to his growing profile in Kenya’s entertainment scene.
