Allegations Linked to Kinoo Incident

The case stems from an incident reported in Kinoo, Kiambu County, in early 2020. Authorities alleged that Mwalimu Rachael, alongside others, assaulted a man and took personal belongings from him.
Reports indicated that the complainant was a friend of Miracle Baby, a member of the popular gengetone group Sailors Gang.
Items listed in the charge sheet at the time included:
  • Jewellery, including silver chains
  • A wristwatch
  • Cash
Prosecutors claimed that force was used during the incident, which led to the robbery with violence charge under Kenyan law.

Court Appearance and Bail

Following her arrest, Mwalimu Rachael was arraigned in court, where she pleaded not guilty to the charges against her. She was later released on bail as the case proceeded.
