Online personality and event organiser Oga Obinna has responded to boxer Alfayo Siwo after the fighter cancelled his highly anticipated bout with coastal boxer Mbalimbali.
The fight had been expected to take place during the upcoming “Vurugu Fight Night,” which was scheduled for April 4 at the Indoor Arena at Kasarani Stadium.
The event had already generated online buzz after Mbalimbali publicly challenged Alfayo Siwo in a viral video that circulated widely on social media.
However, Alfayo Siwo later announced that he would no longer participate in the match, a decision that quickly sparked conversations among fans and boxing followers online.

Obinna Questions Alfayo’s “Value”

Following the cancellation, Oga Obinna shared his reaction, addressing the discussions surrounding the boxer’s decision.

Obinna questioned what value the boxer currently holds and suggested that the proposed fight could have helped boost his visibility.

Despite the criticism, Obinna ended his remarks by wishing Alfayo Siwo well in his future pursuits.
“I wish you well wherever hustle you go, wherever you’ll go, wherever you'll fight. I wish you well… iko tu sawa nayo, tusonge tu nayo,” he said.
He concluded with a phrase that quickly caught attention online:
