The woman who recently claimed to be the biological mother of Kenyan musician Bahati has rejected DNA test results that ruled out any biological relationship between them.

Judith Makokha, who had earlier come forward saying she believed Bahati was the son she lost years ago, broke down emotionally after the results were revealed and later publicly disputed the findings.

Judith Rejects DNA Results

In a viral video circulating online, Judith tearfully insisted that the outcome of the test had been manipulated.

“Hii kitu imechezwa,” she said in Swahili, suggesting that the process may have been interfered with.

She further claimed that someone might have been paid to alter the results, alleging that a person had warned her there was something unusual about the process.

Despite the scientific outcome, Judith maintained that she still believed Bahati was her son, stressing that her actions were not motivated by fame or financial gain.

Bahati Responds with Compassion

Bahati responded to the situation with a calm and empathetic tone, acknowledging the emotional pain Judith appeared to be experiencing.

He told her that if she believed the results were compromised, he was willing to repeat the test at a different hospital.

The musician also promised to support her in searching for her biological child.

“If you feel the results were tampered with, we can do another test in another hospital,” Bahati said.

He added that he would stand by her until the truth about her missing child was discovered.

DNA Results Show No Biological Link

The results of the maternity DNA test were publicly revealed on March 9, 2026, in a video shared by Bahati.

A doctor present during the announcement explained that the probability of maternity was 0 percent, meaning there was no biological possibility that Judith Makokha was Bahati’s mother.

Bahati appeared emotional as he shared the news online, writing that he hoped God would heal Judith’s heart while remembering his late mother, Lucia Mueni.

Emotional Reaction After the Announcement

Judith reacted with visible distress when the results were read out.

Overcome with emotion, she repeatedly questioned what had happened to her own child.

“Where did my child go? My God, I cannot accept this,” she said while crying.

She continued asking for answers about the whereabouts of the child she believes she gave birth to, before eventually leaving the room while still in disbelief.

How the Saga Began

The dramatic situation began weeks earlier when Judith Makokha emerged publicly claiming she was Bahati’s long-lost biological mother.

According to her account, she had a relationship with a man she believed to be Bahati’s father in 1993 while working in Nairobi.

She said the relationship lasted around seven months before they separated due to family opposition.

Judith alleged that she later gave up the child for adoption, a decision she said had haunted her for years.

Emotional First Meeting Between Bahati and Judith

Bahati, who has previously spoken about losing his mother Lucia Mueni at a young age, approached the claim cautiously.

The two eventually met in an emotional reunion captured on video, where Judith expressed joy and relief at finally finding the person she believed to be her son.

Both agreed to conduct a maternity DNA test in Nairobi to determine the truth, with samples collected under professional supervision.

Mixed Public Reactions Online

The unfolding saga quickly became a major talking point on social media.

Some online users expressed sympathy for Judith, saying her emotional reaction suggested she genuinely believed her claim.

Others were more skeptical, speculating that the situation may have been influenced by expectations of financial help or public attention.
