UDA has mourned Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno as a steadfast legislator, and a courageous defender of public interest.
UDA said Ng’eno’s leadership was defined by humility, integrity, and an unwavering sense of purpose.
“Ng'eno distinguished himself as a fearless voice for his constituents and a committed servant of the people, consistently championing the aspirations of ordinary citizens with conviction and sincerity,” the party said in a statement signed by secretary general Hassan Omar.
Omar said the untimely departure of Ng'eno is a devastating loss not only to his family and the people of Emurua Dikirr Constituency, but also to UDA and the nation at large.
“Kenya has lost a dedicated patriot, a steadfast legislator, and a courageous defender of public interest whose leadership was defined by humility, integrity, and an unwavering sense of purpose,” Omar added.
Ng’eno was among six people who died after a helicopter crashed in Chepkiep, Mosop Constituency, Nandi County.
The lawmaker and his aides were on board the aircraft at the time of the crash.
