British American Tobacco (BAT) Kenya posted a full-year net profit of Sh5.25 billion for the year ended December 2025, marking a 17 per cent increase from the previous year.
The growth came despite a decline in sales, with the company attributing the improved performance to lower operating costs.
Historical performance shows fluctuating earnings over the past seven years.
Net profit stood at Sh3.9 billion in 2019, rising to Sh5.5 billion in 2020 and Sh6.5 billion in 2021.
It peaked at Sh6.9 billion in 2022 before easing to Sh5.6 billion in 2023 and Sh4.5 billion in 2024, prior to the 2025 rebound.
