The nationwide rollout was officially launched at Machakos Huduma Centre by State Department for Public Service Principal Secretaries Dr Jane Imbunya and State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management, Cyrell Odede Wagunda.

Speaking during the launch, Imbunya underscored the importance of service excellence in public service delivery.

“Every happy customer becomes a champion for our service,” she said.

Through the partnership between Huduma Kenya and UFAA, Kenyans can now visit any Huduma Centre to make enquiries, submit claims, receive guidance on required documentation, lodge complaints and track the status of their claims.

“It’s official. You can now access UFAA services at a Huduma Centre near you, making it easier to claim your financial assets,” Huduma Kenya said in a statement.

The rollout follows the launch of the Huduma Kenya Universal Public Servants training programme on January 12, 2026, a joint initiative between Huduma Kenya and UFAA aimed at strengthening institutional capacity.

The training, which ran from January 12 to January 16, 2026, brought together Universal Public Servants from all Huduma Centres to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to handle UFAA services efficiently.

According to the agencies, the collaboration allows UFAA to leverage trained Universal Public Servants to devolve its services closer to citizens, facilitating easier remittance and reunification of unclaimed financial assets.

The expansion to all 59 centres marks a significant step in enhancing access to government services and ensuring more Kenyans can reclaim assets that rightfully belong to them through a streamlined and citizen-centred process.
