In recent months, the politicians have been striving to outdo one another by hosting elaborate football tournaments and treating them as a barometer of popularity ahead of 2027.

The disclosure has sparked outrage after it was supposedly revealed some of the roads in question were either poorly executed or remain incomplete despite the hefty payments. In contrast, contractors who reportedly delivered quality work within the agreed timelines and surrendered 10 per cent of the contract sum as demanded, are still struggling to receive their dues.
