Musician and entrepreneur Akothee has marked her daughter’s latest birthday with a life-changing announcement.
In a detailed public statement, the star revealed she has officially handed over her flagship company, Akothee Safaris, to her daughter, Celine Dion Okello, popularly known as Rue Baby.
The transition marks a significant shift for the family empire. Akothee, known for her candid social media presence, used a Facebook post to confirm that Rue Baby is now the Managing Director and Owner of the travel firm.

"In June, I stepped out of the office and made one of the biggest decisions of my life. I handed over the business to you," Akothee shared in her post.
The singer expressed deep gratitude to her daughter for accepting the responsibility. She noted that Rue Baby has already proven her capability during the initial months of the takeover.

She stated that the handover allows her to return fully to her music career. She expressed total confidence that the business she built through sweat and sacrifice is now in safe hands.
