Kenyan content creator Pritty Vishy has shared details of a frightening motorbike accidentfrightening motorbike accident that left her seeking medical attention and replacing her mobile phone.
The influencer revealed that the incident occurred along the busy Thika Road. After being absent from social media for four days, she returned to update her followers on the ordeal.
While the accident caused significant damage to her property, she expressed deep gratitude for her physical safety.
A Narrow Escape on Thika Highway
The accident happened on Thika Highway, a major multi-lane road known for its high traffic volumes. Describing the moment of the crash, Pritty Vishy noted that she "scrubbed" or slid along the tarmac.
In a surprising discovery during the emergency, she mentioned that she had not previously realised that ambulance services in that context could be free of charge. Despite the shock of the event, her primary focus remained on her survival.
“Nilisugua Thika highway ikakuwa safi?yooooooh in whole my life sijawahi jua ambulance hukuwa free?lakini sai najua. All I can say is God saved me,” she updated.
Vishy shared images of her lying in an ambulance, where she appears dazed and weary as she is surrounded by the stark medical equipment of an ambulance.
She also shared another close-up photo that reveals a raw, dark abrasion searing across her cheekbone, highlighting the painful impact of the accident against her skin.
The Cost of Damage
The accident took a heavy toll on her technology. Her iPhone 14 was damaged so severely that technicians deemed it beyond practical repair.
Vishy informed her fans that the quoted price to fix the device was 40,000 Kenyan Shillings.

She compared this high repair cost to the price of a brand-new Samsung phone, suggesting the expense was not worth the investment for a damaged unit.
Beyond the physical hardware, the creator faced further digital setbacks. She revealed that her iCloud account was lost in the process, forcing her to create an entirely new one to get back online.
A Necessary ‘Downgrade’
Following the four-day hiatus, Vishy visited a phone shop to purchase a replacement. Although she had hoped to upgrade her device, the circumstances led her to select an iPhone 13 Pro Max instead.
The creator shared a photo of the receipt to confirm the purchase. She admitted that moving from a newer model to an older version was a difficult choice for her career as a content creator.
"Moving from 14 to 13 was never in my plans. I wanted to go higher, but let's thank God for life," she shared in an Instagram story.
Pritty Vishy is now back to work with her new device, focusing on her recovery and rebuilding her digital presence after the loss of her previous account data.
