American streaming sensation IShowSpeed rekindled his connection with Kenyan content creator Bradley Marongo, popularly known as Gen Z Goliath, during a livestream this week — about a month after their now-viral meeting in Nairobi.
The video, shared on the streamer’s Instagram and social media accounts, shows IShowSpeed placing a live call to Marongo, checking in on him and sharing a brief conversation about their time together during IShowSpeed’s recent Speed Does Africa tour.

“Habari yako? You good, bro? I’m just checking up on you,” IShowSpeed says as the two reconnect.
During the exchange, Gen Z Goliath replies that he is doing well and urges the American creator to return to Kenya.
In response, IShowSpeed promised to visit Nairobi again, telling Marongo that they would link up on his next trip.
The pair’s conversation included light-hearted moments, such as Gen Z Goliath gifting one of his large shoes to Speed, which prompted laughter on the call.

The livestream also included greetings between Marongo and one of IShowSpeed’s family members, with his brother Jamal joining briefly and expressing hopes of visiting Kenya alongside the streamer in the future.
At one point during the broadcast, Gen Z Goliath jokingly declared that IShowSpeed was “officially Kenyan,” a playful reference to his strong connection with his Kenyan fans and the warm reception he received while in the country.
Background: Their Nairobi Meeting
IShowSpeed first met Bradley Marongo in Nairobi during his Speed Does Africa tour in January 2026, a multi-country livestream series that drew global attention.
At the time, the two creators appeared together publicly, with fans noting Marongo’s height and presence as one of the standout moments of the visit.

The meeting between the two was shared widely online, with fans reacting to their chemistry and enthusiastic interactions during the live event.
The Significance of the Reunion Call
The livestream call between IShowSpeed and Gen Z Goliath occurred after IShowSpeed completed his nearly month-long tour across Africa, which included stops in more than 20 countries.
During that tour, he tweeted that Kenya was one of the most impactful stops, pointing to the large crowds and robust fan engagement he experienced there.
In addition to the call with Marongo, the Speed Does Africa tour featured a number of high-profile encounters, including IShowSpeed’s record-breaking surge in YouTube subscribers — his channel rose past 48 million in part due to his time in Kenya.
By reconnecting on stream with Gen Z Goliath, IShowSpeed publicly acknowledged the connection he formed during the Nairobi visit and suggested that his experiences in the country left a lasting impression.
