Close behind is the University of Oxford at 93.9, representing the pinnacle of British social science research and instruction.

The rankings highlight a dense concentration of academic excellence in the U.S., which claims seven of the top ten positions.

Stanford University (93.1) and Harvard University (92.4) maintain their historical prominence at third and fourth, respectively. These institutions are followed by Princeton (92.1) and the University of California, Berkeley (90.9).

The University of Cambridge breaks the American streak at seventh place with a score of 89.8, while Yale, the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, and the London School of Economics (LSE) round out the elite ten.

Evaluation is rigorous, factoring in teaching quality, research environment, industry impact, and international outlook. Beyond the top tier, regional leaders are also making strides.

In East Africa, the University of Nairobi (UoN) has secured a global ranking of 601 with a score of 26.6.

This positioning puts it significantly ahead of Kenyatta University, which recorded a score of 11.4, marking UoN as a key regional player in the social science domain.
