Kenyan content creator Dem wa Facebook has shared a detailed look inside her new luxury mansion, revealing specific security plans for her first child.

The tour comes just one week after the comedian announced her pregnancy to her growing online audience.

The YouTuber, who has recently seen her channel grow to 172,000 subscribers, took fans through the expansive multi-storey property. During the walkthrough, she highlighted the "second bedroom," which has been designated as the nursery.

A key feature of the upcoming arrival's room is the installation of a high-tech surveillance system.

Dem wa Facebook explained that while she wants to be physically close to the child, digital monitoring is a priority for her.

The creator noted that the room's location allows her to stay within earshot of any noise, but she insisted that visual confirmation is vital. She stated that she wants to ensure the baby is always visible, even when she is not in the room.

"I want to stay close to them where I can hear them screaming, but here I am putting CCTV. Children must be seen."

Comprehensive Security

The nursery surveillance is part of a larger security upgrade for the residence. The mansion features a gated entrance and dedicated security measures to ensure the safety of the household.

The creator confirmed that CCTV will also be installed around the exterior of the property. This move aims to provide peace of mind as she prepares for motherhood in a much larger, more private space than her previous homes.

“I will have CCTVs here in this room because there is no offence or problem having CCTVs in a baby’s room, as kids, you always have to watch them, and there is no privacy for small children,” she said.

From Humble Beginnings

The move to the mansion marks a significant milestone in the creator's career. During the video, she reflected on her journey from living in a 4,000 KES per month room in Pipeline to her new multi-bedroom home.

She previously lived in various Nairobi neighbourhoods, including Mwiki and Kayole, where she paid as little as 4,500 KES in rent.

Her rise in the digital space eventually allowed her to move to a 35,000 KES one-bedroom apartment near Westlands before securing her current mansion.

"If you are hustling in town or struggling on the streets, do not give up. Life will provide slowly by slowly,” she encouraged her fans.

A Home for the Whole Family

The new residence is designed to accommodate her extended family and support staff. It includes ensuite bedrooms for her sisters and a guest room on the ground floor for visitors.

The property also features a Servant’s Quarter (SQ), which she intends for her house manager. She noted that having the manager live on-site is essential for helping with the baby.
