World's top universities for Arts and Humanities

The 2026 global rankings for arts and humanities place leading universities from the United States and the United Kingdom at the top.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology ranked first with an overall score of 92.7, followed by Stanford University and the University of Cambridge.

The University of Oxford placed fourth, while Harvard University completed the top five.

Other institutions in the top 10 include the University of California, Berkeley, Princeton University, University College London, Yale University and the University of Chicago.

The rankings assessed universities based on teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement and international outlook, according to Times Higher Education.
