The money was disbursed after the successful completion of a mandatory four-day business skills training programme.

The training equipped the youth with practical knowledge to establish, manage and grow sustainable enterprises.

Under the first phase of the Nyota Start-Up Capital disbursement, each beneficiary will receive Sh25,000 with Sh22,000 credited directly to the Pochi la Biashara account.

This money will support immediate business operations, while Sh3,000 is deposited into a Haba na Haba Savings Account managed by NSSF.

In the second phase, beneficiaries will receive an additional Sh25,000, bringing the total start-up capital support to Sh50,000 per entrepreneur.
