President William Ruto on Sunday joined other worshippers for a service at PEFA Gospel church Gikomba in Nairobi.

Ruto was received by Kamukunji Member of Parliament Yusuf Hassan.

Nominated Senator Tabitha Mutinda, Lands PS Nixon Korir and other leaders from Nairobi were also present.

Ruto was in Kisumu on Friday, where he announced a raft of multi-billion shilling development projects for the residents.

He also announced that Kisumu will host this year’s Jamhuri Day celebrations in December at Moi Stadium.

Ruto has urged Kenyans to evaluate leaders based on policies, programmes and long-term vision rather than ethnic or tribal loyalties.

Ruto reiterated that his government’s development agenda would remain inclusive, saying national projects would be rolled out across the country regardless of political or regional differences.
