Predictably, Gen Z sits at the top, with 79% of the demographic utilizing the platform for entertainment and information.

What is perhaps more striking is the heavy adoption among Millennials, 69% of whom are active on the app. This suggests that the short-form video format has a universal appeal that transcends the "teenager" stereotype.

Even Generation X has a significant foothold on the platform, with nearly half (46%) of those born between 1965 and 1979 tuning in.

While Baby Boomers remain the least likely to scroll through a TikTok feed, 20% of them are still active—a figure nearly double their engagement on platforms like Snapchat. This indicates that TikTok's algorithm-driven content is more accessible or appealing to older adults than the private messaging focus of other apps.
