YouTube remains widely used across generations, with Gen Z recording the highest usage, according to global data from Statista.
About 91 per cent of Gen Z users, born between 1995 and 2012, use YouTube.
Millennials follow closely at 90 per cent, while Generation X records usage of 83 per cent.
Baby boomers show comparatively lower engagement at 69 per cent.
The findings are based on a survey of more than 13,000 online respondents aged between 14 and 98 years, conducted between June 17 and December 29, 2025.
The data highlights a clear generational gap in YouTube usage, with younger users leading adoption.
