During a recent interview, Ngigi directly addressed the speculation, responding to questions about her noticeable absence from what many assumed to be a shared family or social setting.

To explain her current position, Ngigi referenced an analogy that has been circulating online involving penguins.

According to the story, a colony of penguins typically moves together, but occasionally one penguin may choose to leave the group for its own well-being.

Ngigi identified herself with this individual penguin, stating, “I’m that penguin.” She explained that her decision to step away was based on personal reasons, though she did not elaborate on the specific circumstances that informed that choice.

The metaphor, she noted, reflects a personal decision rather than a dramatic or confrontational separation.

No Conflict with the Kiokos

Addressing rumors suggesting a fallout or tension, Ngigi was clear that there is no hostility between her and the Kioko family.

“We are not enemies with the Kiokos,” she said, dismissing claims that the distance was caused by a dispute or unresolved conflict.
