Socialite and entrepreneur Risper Faith has issued a bold call to Kenyan women as the season of romance approaches.
With Valentine’s Day just weeks away, the mother-of-one has declared it is time for ladies to stop hiding their partners and start celebrating them in the digital space.
Risper, who rose to fame as a star on the reality show Nairobi Diaries, took to Instagram to share her thoughts on relationship visibility. Her message was clear: if you love him, show him off.

A Message of Visibility
Posting to her thousands of followers, Risper emphasised that this period is the perfect opportunity for women to be proud of their romantic connections.
She encouraged her audience to let the world witness their happiness rather than keep it behind closed doors.
"Valentine’s is almost here. Ladies, it’s time to start posting your kings. Show him off, celebrate your love, and let the world see who’s got your heart,” she posted.
This advice marks a departure from the "soft launch" or "private life" trends often seen on social media, where partners are kept anonymous or hidden entirely from the public eye.
Growing Together: The Symbolic Post
To drive her point home, Risper shared a creative and highly symbolic photograph featuring herself and her husband, Brian Muiruri, popularly known as Brayo.
In the image, the couple’s heads are seen emerging from a mound of soil, smiling brightly, with the playful caption: "Baby, let’s grow together."

The post, which was a joint upload with Brian’s account (@brayo79), serves as a visual metaphor for their partnership. Having been married since their lavish 2018 wedding at Nairobi's Radisson Blu, the couple has weathered various seasons of marriage in the public spotlight.

Why Women Hesitate to Post
The debate over whether to post a partner remains a hot topic in Kenya's digital circles. While Risper advocates for public celebration, many women cite fear of "jinxing" the relationship or the potential for public embarrassment if a breakup occurs as reasons for their silence.
However, for Risper, the upcoming Valentine’s season is a time to cast those fears aside.
Valentine's Day, held every year on February 14, is a heartfelt celebration of love in all its forms.
