
Kenya’s fixed data market remains dominated by Safaricom, which leads all operators by a wide margin.
Data from the Communications Authority shows Safaricom had 815,037 fixed data subscriptions as of September 2025, accounting for about 35.6 per cent of the market.
Jamii Telecommunications followed with 466,458 subscriptions, representing 20.4 per cent, while Wananchi Group held 270,320 subscriptions, or 11.8 per cent.
Poa Internet Kenya had 265,729 users, translating to 11.6 per cent.
Smaller players included Ahadi Wireless, Mawingu Networks, Vilcom Network and others, which together accounted for less than a quarter of total subscriptions.
