In 2024, beer remained a global favourite drink, but who drank the most per person? In Czechia, people topped the world charts, with about 149 litres of beer per person each year — more than any other nation.

Behind them came Lithuania, Austria, Ireland and Croatia, all averaging over 90 litres per person annually. Other European countries like Estonia, Spain and Romania also ranked high.
