Kenyan digital creator Josh Wonder has denied allegations that he cheated on his girlfriend, Kendi Christine, after screenshots and images allegedly linked to him circulated online.
The claims sparked widespread discussion on social media, prompting Wonder to respond directly through a series of posts on his Instagram Stories.

In the posts, Wonder said he chose to speak at a time when most people close to him were offline.
“I’ll comfortably rant at this time because clearly my girlfriend, close friends, manager and big bro are asleep,” he wrote. He added that he was aware the message could be deleted later but felt it was important to address the issue publicly.

Wonder stated that the content being shared online came from past interactions. “Someone we used to be ‘friends’ with back in the years for a very long time decided to expose our old conversations, including photos of me that didn’t paint a good picture of me online,” he said.
Old Content and Context
In his Instagram Story, Wonder revealed that he had taken legal steps regarding the sharing of the private content. He said a demand letter had already been issued and that the matter was now before the courts.
This, he suggested, underscored the seriousness of the situation and his intention to address it through formal channels.
He added that he became fully aware of the legal implications of sharing private conversations and images without consent after the incident unfolded.
“All these images you’re spreading and using to troll and bully me with online are very old and outdated stories,” he wrote.
Denial of ‘Mumama’ Allegations
Wonder directly dismissed claims linking him to an older woman, a rumor popularly described online as “mumama.” “Mumama? Nijikute!!!” he wrote. He added, “Mnashau haraka mimi ni cool kid from day one. Kuna upuzi siezi fanya.”
He emphasized that he considers himself focused on his work and personal growth, describing the allegations as exaggerated and unfair. Wonder also questioned why his efforts and achievements over the year were being overlooked in favor of controversy.
Reaction to Online Criticism
Wonder acknowledged the online scrutiny surrounding the claims, saying, “I know I have a good number of people hanging on the fence waiting for that downfall.”
Despite this, he maintained that the backlash would not change him. “I’m such a chill guy in my own lane and always minding my business. Bullying and trolling won’t change who I am,” he wrote.
Concluding his Instagram Stories, Wonder said he remains focused on personal development. “I’m focused on healing, growth, and the positive community we’ve built here,” he stated, thanking supporters for standing by him.
