Kenyan musician and CEO of Saldido International, Willy Pau, has officially addressed the emergence of a viral lookalike who has been causing a stir online.
The singer, known to his fans as Pozze, took to his Instagram to clarify that the individual is not him.
The move comes after reports surfaced that the unidentified man has been leveraging his physical resemblance to the artist to deceive or manipulate unsuspecting members of the public.

"This person has been deceitfully claiming to be my brother and using my name to gain favors and manipulate others,” Pozee said.
The musician revealed that he had previously warned and even exposed the individual on his official page, he never stopped manipulating unsuspecting fans.
“Despite previous warnings and having exposed this individual on my social media, they have continued to spread false information and damage my reputation.”
The Mirror Image: A Detailed Contrast
The photo shared by Willy Paul reveals a striking resemblance between him and the other man. The lookalike appears to have carefully mimicked the singer’s signature aesthetic.
He sports a similar hairstyle—neatly groomed dreadlocks with dyed tips—and shares a similar facial structure and complexion.

However, closer inspection reveals subtle differences. While the lookalike possesses the basic features, he lacks the distinct tattoos and specific fashion accessories that Willy Paul is known for.
Willy Paul himself often appears in high-end designer streetwear and maintains a highly polished, professional appearance that reflects his years in the limelight.

A History of Identity Issues
This is not the first time a Kenyan celebrity has had to contend with a doppelgänger. In recent years, several public figures have faced "fakes" who attempt to book shows or solicit money from fans.
Willy Paul emphasized that while having a lookalike is not inherently a crime, using that resemblance to defraud people is a serious concern.
He confirmed that the matter in now being pursued by law enforcers while urging those who have fallen victim to the lookalike to reach out to him.
“This matter is now under police investigation, and appropriate legal action is being taken. I urge anyone who has been affected or who has any concerns to reach out to me directly.”
