Media personality Kamene Goro has marked her sixth anniversary with her husband, Deejay Bonez, by sending a pointed message to those who have doubted their union.
The former radio queen took to Instagram to share an intimate video montage, celebrating their resilience and the depth of their relationship.
The couple, who officially wed in a private ceremony in April 2023, has often been a topic of public discussion. However, Kamene’s latest post makes it clear that they are more united than ever.

A Journey Captured in Motion
The anniversary video features a series of candid moments between the two, set to the song "No Body" by Darassa featuring Bien.
In the opening clips, the couple is seen enjoying a drink at a beachside lounge. Kamene, wearing a vibrant pink top and a chunky gold chain, smiles brightly as they toast to the camera.

The footage then transitions to more private settings, showing the pair cuddling and laughing at home. One segment shows them in a car, with Kamene leaning affectionately on Bonez’s shoulder.
Throughout the video, the chemistry is evident, ranging from playful faces to wide, genuine smiles.

Weathering the Storm
In her heartfelt caption, Kamene did not shy away from the challenges they have faced over the last six years. She described their path as one that has not been easy, but credited Bonez for being her constant support.
“Happy Anniversary, Husband! It definitely has not been easy, but doing it with you has been the prize,” she wrote.
Kamene affectionately referred to him as her "COVID love," a nod to the period when their relationship became more public and intense. She praised him as the man who made her a wife and the one who consistently "reminds me who I am."
“My COVID love @deejaybonez254, the man who made me his wife, my bestfriend, the one who wipes my tears, who always reminds me who I am and holds me in his heart,” she said.

“To 6 years of being together, weathering it together. And to a lifetime of so many more. Only we know the depth and struggle of our journey and why we still keep at it,” she added.
A Message to the Haters
The most striking part of the post was the closing line, written in Swahili: "Hatuwachani, mtangoja!" This translates roughly to "We are not breaking up, you will wait (in vain)," a direct response to critics who have speculated on the stability of their marriage.
