A poll conducted in Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, and Trans Nzoia counties sought to establish the political party preferences among the Mulembe community.

The survey results indicate that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is the most popular party, with 25 per cent of respondents expressing support.

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) follows with 20 per cent, while the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) commands 7 per cent.

FORD-Kenya and Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) recorded 4 per cent each, and the Jubilee Party had 3 per cent support.

Other parties, including DAP-K, PNU, UGM, Maendeleo Chap Chap, Restore and Build Kenya Party, Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG), and PDP, each attracted 1-2 per cent of the vote.

Nine per cent of respondents indicated they would not support any political party, while 17 per cent preferred not to disclose their preference.

The survey illustrates the current political landscape within the Mulembe region, highlighting ODM and UDA as dominant forces.

It also shows a considerable portion of the electorate remaining undecided or unaffiliated, reflecting the fluidity of political support in the community.
