Digital creator Esther Musila has sparked fresh conversation online after sharing a video of her 2022 wedding to gospel star Guardian Angel. The clip, posted to her Instagram, reveals a unique change to the traditional marriage vows exchanged during their ceremony.
The couple, who married in a private white wedding, chose to omit the phrase "for richer, for poorer. Instead, they focused on positive declarations for their future together. Musila explained that this was a conscious choice based on their personal beliefs.

In the video shared by Musila, Guardian Angel—born Peter Omwaka—promises to love his wife "for better, for richer and in health". He refers to Musila as his queen and sunshine throughout the exchange.
Musila clarified the reason for the wording to her followers. She stated that the couple does not believe in speaking negatively about their marriage.
"Our vows had no 'for richer for poorer', because we do not confess that!! It is: For richer. For health. For Better,” she clarified.

The pair tied the knot on 4 January 2022. The date was a deliberate choice, as it coincides with Guardian Angel’s birthday.
