Man clobbered to death during confrontation in Pangani

Police are investigating an incident at Burhan Estate, Pangani, where a 25-year-old man was fatally attacked during a confrontation.

Witnesses and police said the victim was assaulted by two men armed with metal rods.

Officers on patrol reportedly intervened and took the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later died. One suspect was arrested, while the other remains at large.

The metal rod used in the attack was recovered from the scene.

The suspect is in custody pending arraignment, and the body has been moved to the mortuary for autopsy. The motive for the attack is under investigation.

The body of a man was discovered in a forest on January 2, several days after he was allegedly killed.

Police reported that the body had injuries to the head and face, as well as bruising on both hands.

The body was taken to the mortuary pending autopsy and further investigations.

Isaack Odhiambo, 24, was found dead at his home on January 2.

Police said he had sustained a head injury earlier and reportedly became violent toward his wife, who sought refuge with a neighbour overnight.

She returned home the following day and discovered him deceased.

Authorities are investigating the death as a suspected murder.

Evans Odonyo, 33, was found dead outside a bar on January 2.

Police reported a deep chest wound and said he was involved in a confrontation with several men over a bar attendant.

Investigations into the circumstances of his death are ongoing.

Ainabatich, Uasin Gishu

A man was found dead in a thicket near the Eldoret GK Prisons.

Police said the body showed no visible injuries, suggesting he may have been killed elsewhere before being moved to the location.

The motive is not yet known. The body has been taken to the mortuary pending autopsy.

Chebiemit, Elgeyo Marakwet 

Josephat Kimutai, 65, was found dead in a field on January 2.

Police reported bruising on his neck and ear, and he was holding a hoe when discovered.

His body has been taken to the mortuary for autopsy, and investigations into his death are ongoing.
