
A survey has identified the key issues guiding voter choice in the 2027 election, highlighting the priorities of Kenyans as captured in an end-of-year poll.
According to the findings, the cost of living tops the list at 46 per cent, making it the most influential factor for voters.
Anti-corruption and health services follow jointly at 27 per cent each, while education ranks close behind at 26 per cent.
Youth employment is cited by 25 per cent of respondents, with leadership integrity at 23 per cent and economic management at 21 per cent.
Security stands at 16 per cent, devolution at 11 per cent, and affordable housing emerges as the least-cited issue at 3 per cent.
The results are drawn from Infotrak’s End of Year Poll for December 2025, released on December 28, 2025.
