If elections were held today, who would Kenyans choose?/WILLIAM WANYOIKE

A new opinion poll by Infotrak suggests President William Ruto would win if a general election were held today, commanding 28 per cent support among respondents.

Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i follows at 13 per cent, closely trailed by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka with 12 per cent.

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino ranks fourth at 7 per cent, while former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua attracts 5 per cent support.

Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua and DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa each register 2 per cent.

The Infotrak end-year survey was released on December 28, 2025.
