Prophet Victor Kanyari on Sunday shared details of a costly shopping trip for his daughter while addressing his church congregants.
The spiritual leader revealed that his daughter, Sky Victor, purchased clothing worth KSh 78,000. This revelation came during a Sunday service, where the Prophet spoke candidly about his family’s affairs and financial matters.
Kanyari stated that the expensive purchase took place recently after he received a call about the need for new garments.

The Thursday Call and Reluctant Shopping
The Prophet explained to his followers that the need for shopping arose on a Thursday. He recounted receiving a phone call informing him that they required new clothes.
“On Thursday, they called me and said they don’t have clothes to wear. Not that they don’t have, it’s only that they wanted new clothes, and because I don’t like rigorous processes, I just took them for clothes shopping,” Kanyari said.

He noted his personal dislike for shopping, expressing reluctance to participate in the activity.
Despite his personal feelings, he accompanied them for the purchase. Initially, Kanyari mentioned buying clothes totaling KSh 76,000. However, he later clarified the actual expenditure made by his daughter.

The Final Figure: KSh 78,000
The substantial amount spent became a key point of discussion during his address. Kanyari confirmed that his daughter ultimately completed shopping for clothes totalling KSh 78,000.
Kanyari stated that his daughter was hesitant about his accompanying her to the clothes store. Due to this shyness, he recounted that she asked her Kanyari’s wife to accompany her instead.
“She was shy of me choosing the clothes for her, so she asked his wife to accompany her. And so, she did the shopping for her dress worth Ksh 78K,” he stressed.
The church leader remarked that he has been raising children and handling such expenses for a long time.
During the sermon, Kanyari also spoke of his plans to take custody of his kids, Danny and Sky.
He explained that they will have a conversation later with Tash regarding the children when the time is right.

He added that the only people giving Tash comfort at the moment are his children, and he does not want to interfere during this difficult period.
"We are two fathers, and that is why I have not been rushing to take them. I understand that there was another father, and I am not that violent. If I wanted to fight, I would show up there with goons and tell them to give me my kids. But now, I do not want war," he said.
