

As of the 2024 FinAccess Household Survey, 84.8 % of adult Kenyans have access to formal financial services, including bank accounts, mobile money and regulated savings products.
Financial inclusion is slightly higher for men (85.7 %) than women (84.1 %), and urban areas show greater access than rural areas.
Higher inclusion is also seen among middle-aged adults compared with younger and older age group.
